Extreme Tracking can modify your system to suit your needs. The following items are the features and optional components available.
Extreme Tracking provides you with an In-Car Navigator when you purchase the screen upgrade. The navigation software is updated dynamically as new map data becomes available.
You can also upload your waypoints into Google Earth and vice versa. With this feature you can easily plot new journeys or backup your waypoint data to your PC. The navigator also supports Google KML files so you can download Google Earth waypoints from the internet to your navigator.
The telematics service is a complete fleet management tool. With the Job Scheduler you can assign drivers tasks during the day and Extreme Tracking will automatically update their daily inventory. As a second function for the job scheduler, the Automatic Dispatch Service will hold a pool of jobs, and the closest driver to the job will be automatically be assigned the job.
The telematics system couples with the screen and navigator to make a powerful business tool where you can send an SMS to the driver, and even setup the navigator to automatically navigate the driver to all the jobs for the day.
Extreme Tracking provides an option where all the drivers in your fleet are issued a key tag that is encoded with a number that identifies each driver uniquely. This key tag then needs to be present in the vehicle for the immobiliser to be deactivated. This service is provided as a driver tracking method for extra history information. The service can even be used as an electronic logbook.
Extreme Tracking now incorporates a fatigue monitor into the system. The camera inside the vehicle monitors the drivers face for signs of fatigue and will warn the driver to pull over if any are detected. If the driver chooses to ignore the warning for 15 minutes or more, an alarm is logged in the vehicle log and an option of a countdown forced shutdown can be enabled. This option is disabled by default.
Extreme Tracking now supports the Telstra Next G network enabling you to travel in rural areas and still be able to use the system. The Telstra Next G network covers 98% of Australia’s population, making it the largest network in Australia.
The broadband speeds of Telstra’s Next G network, makes sending data to and from the tracker lightning quick enabling faster update times for pre-collected data.
The alarm and immobiliser features of the tracker work exactly the same as a standard alarm system. The main benefit is that not only does the siren sound when there is an alert, but the tracker will send the street address and status of the alarm to you, and your contacts.
Extreme Tracking allows covert inbound calls to the vehicle. The phone can be enabled to ring in the vehicle so the driver is aware of the incoming call. If the vehicle features radio muting for an incoming call, this can also be connected.
Extreme Tracking offers an in-depth and rich reporting system. You can retrieve at any time, from any selected period, the driver, engine start/stop times, idle times, street addresses, speeds, alarms, engine run-times, scheduled/completed jobs and their times, if voice calls were made to the vehicle, and much more. The reporting system basically logs every event that happens to the vehicle and stores it for printing or later viewing. |
